Tonight in Reading workshop we continued to read on the based on true story "Mariquita". I continue to love this story. So far Mariquita get's married to Eddie and has a baby boy who was also born on my birthday September. I was blown away on that part. The more I read into the story I feel like I want to cry. I don't even know why the I haven't gone to the part were the war starts. I love their story line on their love life and how often they spend so much time with each other. I can relate to the love part. I too spend a lot of time with my honey and have gone my own way with out my girlfriends but still keep in touch. Still,I can not wait to finish this book. Until next blogg and good reads,Good night and see you all next week.

you spoiled it for me, Man i was getting to that part I was where they got engaged. Laughing out loud just joking. But really I am at the part that I am. The traditions are still the same, where you have to ask your parents if you can get married and for their blessings. There love is really strong between the two. I kind of felt the same way because when I had a girlfriend we were always spending time together or on the phone and sometimes she would surprise me and just come to my house. So yeah I kind of felt that way when I had a girlfriend. But now it is all about education and taking care of my mom and work. I do not need a girlfriend just yet.
ReplyDeleteHey someone is ahead of the whole class. Its good to know that you've read further than most of us. You have a strong acceptance towards reading novels. I wish I could've shared the same feeling.
