In today's class session we finally read the Mariquita book so far I like it because it is our history that we are reading about. Back then the villages are really nice especially Agana also know as Hagatna. And to know that there were a lot of local relics that are still standing now that it is the twenty first century. I really cannot wait to finish the book because at least I know a little of our history and our chamorro history. The book is kind of funny. So far this book is really interesting. The part that I cannot get out of my head is the part where she and the friend gets tired of paddling, And the reason why is because there was one day that i wanted to go with my Uncle Tom, my two cousins, and dad fishing on the boat, we went to a little bit to coco's island and the boat died. My uncle did not have any paddles so we had to swim back to Merizo pier and by the time we reached may 25 feet I got a cramp in my leg, so my dad and uncle told me to get in to the boat and they will pull me in. Then by then my Dad and one of my cousins get a cramp so they get in, The only one that was pulling the boat was my uncle and my cousin but then my cousin got a cramp, so he got in the boat so the only on pulling the boat was my Uncle. So he said that they are going to try and spearfish for a while so everyone but I gets back in the water. Then when they came up my uncle tried to start the boat and it did. The fact is that we had the phones in the dry box. we could of called someone to help us. yeah so that is why I cannot get that image out of my head. Till next class session.

I read your Blog and I thought your story was pretty funny - no offence but it was a good story. I can't believe that you had to swim that far though. See you next class session.
