Today in reading class was enjoyable. We started off reading a novel based on a true story "The Child called it". I had already read this book before but I do enjoy  reading it again. Just hearing Mrs.Q read it out loud brought back the old feelings I first had when I had read it the first time. I wish I was there to comfort the little boy and take him in. No child should ever get the treatment he had in his childhood. What made me upset is how his mother only treated him like that and not his other brothers not that they should of got that kind of punishment he had. But why only him? Even if his father was barely around NO mother should use the pathetic excuse of lack of good parenting to abuse her children. Well I can't wait to finish this book AGAIN. Well until next blogg goodnight and good reads....

  1. I agree with you on being there for the child . It's really sad to read about someone to suffer the way he did. But I can't wait to finish the book as well so that I may know the rest of the story. See you next week!

  2. Nice ! I can actually picture you being there for that child.
It is cruel how his mother treats him. Although he didn't deserve that kind of punishment at all, I still don't understand how it all started. Well, that goes for me, I'd love to finish this book.

  3. I really want to do something to the mother because no mother should do that to there child. Kids should be treated good because they are really young, the kids don't really know what they are doing and they learn from there own mistakes. The mother should of got the death penalty. I deal with kids and if i was to see a kid like the one in the book, I would tell someone that the child needs help and just try and help him out in any way that I can. Me to I can not wait to finish the book.
